  • AgentsMesh - the BSL-1.1 self-hosted fleet console turning registered machines into AgentPods with tickets, channels, and automated loops.
  • Agno - the Apache-2.0 Python agent platform, formerly Phidata, pairing a self-hosted AgentOS runtime with a $150-per-month control plane.

  • Foremerge - the Apache-2.0 protocol where parallel agents publish what they are about to change before they change it, catching the plan collisions Git merges without complaint, from GPTree’s internal tooling.
  • Gas City - the MIT orchestration-builder SDK extracted from the shut-down Gas Town, six primitives and zero hardcoded roles, the category’s first build-your-own-orchestrator toolkit and its living lineage record.
  • Gas Town - Steve Yegge’s tmux town of 20-30 supervised agents, shut down in September 2026 after Yegge admitted he never successfully built anything with it, kept as the category’s cautionary record.
  • GraphCode - the FSL-licensed native macOS workspace arranging live agent loops into a graph with hand-off, message, and spawn edges.
  • Happy Coder - the MIT encrypted mobile client wrapping Claude Code and Codex sessions, 24.1k stars, second only to cmux among the category’s session multiplexers.
  • hcom - the MIT CLI messaging fabric where thirteen coding CLIs message, watch, and spawn each other across terminals.
  • Helmor - the Apache-2.0 local-first desktop workbench running agents across worktrees through review, test, merge, and one-click PR.

  • Symphony - OpenAI’s Apache-2.0 spec-first scheduler turning tracker issues into isolated autonomous implementation runs, 27.6k stars on a preview whose train stopped in mid-September.
  • T3 Code - Ping.gg’s MIT control surface driving Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Grok Build, OpenCode, and Antigravity from native iOS, Android, web, and Electron clients on the subscriptions you already pay, 26.9k stars in eight months.
  • The Perfect Orchestrator - the MIT bash and tmux harness where one lead Claude Code session adversarially verifies N worker sessions.
  • Vibe Kanban - the Apache-2.0 kanban for parallel agents, orphaned by Bloop’s April 2026 shutdown, community commits resumed in September 2026 but only a v0.1.45 tag, npm still at 0.1.44.
  • Worktrunk - the Rust wt CLI making worktrees as easy as branches, with lifecycle hooks and a one-command merge.
  • Yao - Infinite Wisdom Software’s cross-device agent workspace on the five-year Yao Engine, 8.1k stars mostly inherited from its 2021 low-code era.
