  • Conductor - the macOS app for parallel Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and OpenCode sessions with diff review and PR flow.
  • CrewAI - the MIT Python role-and-crew framework, 59.7k stars, now funded by an $18M enterprise platform.
  • Crewplane - the Apache-2.0 CLI workflow runner that turns coding-agent stages into resumable Markdown with on-disk run records.

  • Frink - the free MIT desktop app running up to four agents in worktree-backed panes, turning plain-language routines into schedule-, webhook-, and event-triggered Flows with approval gates.
  • Gas City - the MIT orchestration-builder SDK extracted from the shut-down Gas Town, six primitives and zero hardcoded roles, the category’s first build-your-own-orchestrator toolkit and its living lineage record.
  • Gas Town - Steve Yegge’s tmux town of 20-30 supervised agents, shut down in September 2026 after Yegge admitted he never successfully built anything with it, kept as the category’s cautionary record.

  • Ivy Tendril - Ivy Interactive’s source-available desktop software factory planning, drafting in parallel worktrees, and reviewing any CLI agent’s work into pull requests, mid-rewrite in a TypeScript-and-Rust successor, 203 stars as of 2026-10-24.
  • Jean - the Coolify team’s Apache-2.0 Tauri dev environment giving every task its own worktree across nine coding CLIs, with local and jean-server projects in one sidebar and a token-authenticated web UI.
  • JetBrains Air - the standalone agentic environment running Codex, Claude Agent, Gemini CLI, and Junie in parallel, isolated per task and bundled with the AI subscription.

  • Vibe Kanban - the Apache-2.0 kanban for parallel agents, orphaned by Bloop’s April 2026 shutdown, community commits resumed in September 2026 but only a v0.1.45 tag, npm still at 0.1.44.
